[T]the Ecology Center tested 99 products from 14 retailers, including Burlington Coat Factory, Target, Big Lots, Claire's, Glitter, Forever 21, Walmart, H&M, Meijer, Kohl's, Justice, Icing and Hot Topic. . . 59% of the products had high levels of at least one toxic chemical and 93% contained chromium . . .toxic chemicals like lead can lead to several long-term health and mental problems, including cancer, learning disorders and birth defects.
